Earl Hipp

Earl Hipp - HRD Human Resource Development

Earl Hipp has been a virtual worker for the last 18 years with Human Resource Development, Inc. Some of his skill sets include coaching for remote workers, virtual teams and their managers, online or in-person trainer, conference and meeting presenter, and the author of eight books with over a half-million copies sold.

Earl's interest in individual and organizational development comes from his background as a clinical therapist. Behind all of his work is a driving motivation to help people understand, cope with, plan for, and grow through the important changes in their lives. With HRD he uses his very personal training style to teach people how to be comfortable, optimistic, fully-functional, and employable in today's rapidly-changing and increasingly virtual world of work.

You can read Earl's personal Statement of Motivation just below.

In his non-work time, Earl writes Blogs and best-selling books for young people, he flies airplanes with and without engines, he's a mentor to a number of young men and boys, he has Bungee jumped in New Zealand, is a recovering marathon runner, and spends winters in Tucson, Arizona with his wife Gwen.

Earl's Statement Of Motivation:

Seeing The Light Of Understanding

The Light Bulb Business

I'm really in the light bulb business. At the heart of my work is the joy, excitement, and privilege of being present in that moment when an individual, team, or an audience "gets it." When the light of new understanding suddenly clicks on and illuminates a whole universe of possibilities that previously couldn't be seen.

In my incarnations as a trainer, coach, therapist, author, and speaker, I take enormous pleasure in helping others "see" things from a new perspective. A changed view of yourself or the world can often make the insurmountable look manageable and even exciting.

Seeing the light of understanding go on in someone's eyes, getting a letter from someone whose life was changed by one of my books, watching an individual or team's performance improve, or helping an audience recognize and get excited about new possibilities . . . are what I live for and why I do what I do.
